Healthy Eating habits

Early childhood is the perfect time to start forming lifelong healthy eating habits.

Our menus are based on nutritionist advice, and we're proud recipients of the Healthy Heart Award from the Heart Foundation. We limit additives, processed foods, and refined sugars.

Our incredible garden also provides us with space to grow our own vegetables, herbs and fruit. The tamariki help to plant, water, and eventually pick the plants in our garden, and we incorporate these foods into our menus. Our preschoolers often participate in baking prep for things like muffins, or making smoothies. It’s amazing to see what new foods children will try, especially if they are involved in the preparation!

Our fees include a daily morning tea, lunchtime, afternoon tea, plus late snack. Check out our current menus.
