It's important to have a plan for when your child is sick, as you will be asked to keep them away from the Centre until they are well again. You will need to call the Centre to let us know if your child will be absent and let us know if they have an infectious disease e.g. Chicken Pox, conjunctivitis etc. Any absent days are still paid for in full.
It’s a good idea to supply 2 changes of clothes, sun hat/winter hat, a warm jacket and gumboots in winter. If your child has an allergy to regular sunblock please provide your preferred brand for your child. If your child requires formula, please supply this.
We provide a programme that we believe is rich in emergent language, literacy, and numeracy skills. Through providing an environment rich in learning potential we believe we can best support children on their learning journey. We encourage children to become active decision makers in their learning.
We offer a full day session 7.30 am to 5.30 pm or an 8.30 am to 3.30 pm session.
It is important that both you and your child feel settled before your child has their first full day at the Centre. To ensure a smooth transition we like a minimum of three transition visits before your child starts, please discuss this with the Centre Supervisor. Some children settle in immediately, and others take more time, we make sure that children get our love and support to make the transition as smooth as possible.
We enrol children from three months to six years old.
We would encourage you to get in touch with the Centre as soon as possible. Our spaces are worked out based on children’s start dates, waitlists and availability in the Centre. Please fill in an enrolment enquiry form and drop it into the Centre, then we know the days and times you are looking for.
